🏡 My Second Real Estate Transaction: Growth, Gratitude, and a Few HOAs!

Wow — I just completed my second real estate transaction, and what an experience it was! This one reminded me just how unique every deal can be and how much there is to learn in this business.

Early on, I was told that no two transactions are ever the same — and now I understand why. Each client, property, and process brings its own set of challenges and rewards. This one taught me a lot about Homeowners Associations (HOAs) — and let me tell you, they are truly a piece of work! From reviewing pages of documents to verifying details and timelines, the process required patience, attention to detail, and a lot of reading.

What stood out most to me was how important it is for both the client and the REALTOR® to do their due diligence. Whether it’s visiting a location to request forms, making calls, sending emails, or carefully reviewing forty-five pages of HOA minutes — it’s all part of ensuring I can confidently guide my clients and help them make informed decisions about their future home.

This transaction was a great learning experience and another reminder of why I love what I do. Every closing brings new lessons, new people, and new opportunities to grow.
